Board and Advisory Council

The Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board includes aging network and health industry leaders from across the six-county region that the AAA 1-B serves. A commissioner and one older adult representative from all six counties also sits on the Board. The agency also has an Advisory Council consisting primarily of older adults, service providers and professionals in the aging network, who provide input and direction on the various initiatives of the AAA 1-B. Meetings of the AAA 1-B Board of Directors and Advisory Council are open to the general public. For more information, please contact the Executive Services Manager at 1-800-852-7795.
